Henderson Sunlight Asset Management is the manager of Sunlight REIT in Hong Kong. It offers investors the opportunity to invest in a diversified portfolio of 12 office and 7 retail properties in Hong Kong. The office properties are located in both core and decentralized business areas, while the retail properties are located in regional transportation hubs, new towns and other urban areas with high population density.
The Challenges
DocNet DMS is a web-based Document Management System that allows companies to track and store scanned images and files. With its advanced indexing technology, users can retrieve files easily. However, the system does not provide features that can prevent data leakage when users have the proper access rights.
As such, the company looked for an add-on solution that can help address this problem and can work well with its existing DMS.
The Solution
Apply Curtain e-locker protection to the DocNet system
Administrators can apply e-locker protection to some filing applications. With Curtain e-locker protection, users can only read and download the files to e-locker’s Protected Directory. They cannot save/download those files to other locations (e.g. usb disk), print, or attach them to email, if they are not authorized to do so.
